We offer Virginia State DPOR-approved Fuel Gas, Mechanical (HVAC), Plumbing, and Electrical continuing education courses for renewing your license. Each course is 3 hours, with the exception of Fuel Gas, which is 1 hour in length. The entire class can be completed online, from registration to getting your certificate. CodeUpdate4U.com then reports your completion to DPOR. For payment, we accept all major credit cards as well as PayPal, and you don't need a PayPal account to pay!

Courses and Cost

Electrical Code Update Course - 2011 NEC
$40 - 3 CEU Hours
This course covers updates to the 2011 National Electrical Code and is required to be taken by all licensed electrical tradesman in the state of Virginia once every two (2) years. This class is approved by the Virginia State Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation. Although you can take this course to satisfy your bi-annual code renewal requirement, the state of Virginia has not yet adopted the 2011 NEC for use. You are still required to know and use the 2008 NEC.
NEW Mechanical (HVAC) Code Update Course - 2012 IMC
$40 - 3 CEU Hours
This course covers updates to the 2012 International Mechanical (HVAC) Code and is required to be taken by all mechanical licensed tradesman in the state of Virginia once every two (2) years. This class is approved by the Virginia State Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation.
NEW Plumbing Code Update Course - 2012 IPC
$40 - 3 CEU Hours
This course covers updates to the 2012 International Plumbing Code and is required to be taken by all licensed plumbing tradesman in the state of Virginia once every two (2) years. This class is approved by the Virginia State Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation.

$25 - 1 CEU Hour
This course covers updates to the 2012 International Fuel-Gas Code and is required to be taken by all fuel gas licensed tradesman in the state of Virginia once every two (2) years. This class is approved by the Virginia State Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation.
